1) Teheran Conference (Nov. 1943) Decisions
Western allies open a second front in France. The USSR would attack simultaneously from the east. The USSR would declare war on Japan. UN would be set up. An area of Easy Poland would be added to the Soviet Union.

There was a dispute over when the allies would invade France, but it didn't happen until 1944 which made Stalin suspicious.

3) Yalta Conference (Feb. 1945) Decisions
Soviet Union would go to war against Japan when Germany surrendered. Germany and Berlin divided into 4 zones (US, USSR, Britain, France). Allow countries controlled by Germany to have democracy. Join UN to maintain peace after war.

Eastern Europe would be a Soviet 'sphere of influence'. Hunt down and try Nazi war criminals in an international court of justice.

5) Yalta Conference (Feb.1945) Disagreements
How much Germany would pay in reparations (Stalin wanted more). Stalin wanted German/Polish border to be further west. Stalin wanted a friendly Polish government so USSR would be protected from Germany.

6) Potsdam Conference (Jul.-Aug. 1945) Decisions
Germany and Berlin divided into 4 zones of occupation. Nazi party banned and surviving Nazis prosecuted as war criminals. All Germans living in Poland, Hungary or Czechoslovakia should be repatriated. The Oder-Neisse river as new German border.

7) Potsdam Conference (Jul.-Aug. 1945) Disagreements
20 million Russians died in the war - Stalin wanted compensation. Truman wanted free elections in Europe. Stalin didn't want an American influence in Eastern Europe.
