The EBA was one of the first of the alphabet agencies. Restored confidence in the US banks, Within three days, 5,000 banks had been given permission to be re-opened. Restored capitalism.

y the spring of 1937, production, profits, and wages had regained their 1929 levels. Unemployment remained high, Unemployment increased 7,500,000 in 8 months.

The TVA, PWA and CCC improved work for young men under the Government.

One of the biggest problems of the GD was that the American public had no hope. However, due to Roosevelt's policies, agencies and fireside chats, he restored confidence in it's people.

Supreme Court Opposition: FDR accused of packing court, usurping Judges power, acting unconstitutionally. Opposition movements eg: Father Coughlin, Huey Long
