What is Health?
health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not getting ill.

What is physical well-being?
1) Heart and the rest of your body is working well. 2) Not suffering from disease or injury. 3) not physically weeak (infirm).

What is mental well-being?
1) Don't have too much stress or anxiety. 2) Not suffering from any mental illness. 3) Feel content.

What is social well-being?
1) You have food, clothes and shelter. 2) Have friends. 3) Believe you have some worth in society

What does PEASED mean?
Personal hygiene, Emotional health, Alcohol/ Drug use, Safety, Environment and Diet

What is Personal hygiene?
Keeping yourself clean- it help you avoid diseases and helps with your social life.

What is Emotional health?
Is feeling good. Avoid too much stress and worry- this can be caused by friends, school and relationships.

What is Alcohol/ Drug use?
The misuse of substances = poor health, e.g. Alcohol and tobacco. Even passive smoking = health problems.

What is Safety?
If you have a dangerous job = more likely to become injured. Use safety equipment.

What is Environment?
Pollution = respiratory problems. Noise at night can lead to lac of sleep = stress.

You eating the right balance of nutrients.
