What is information processing?
Process a performer goes through when they make and act on decisions

What is input?
Performer takes in information from environment using senses. Chooses relevant information and discards irrelevant information; this is selective attention.

What is decision making?
Performer selects appropraite response from their memory. Information selected is held in memory for 30 secs. Long term memory holds information that has been rehearsed and stored.

What is output?
Decisions chosen is sent to relevant muscles so a response can occur.

What is feedback?
Information recieved either intrinsically or extrinsically regarding the success of the action.
