EVOLUTION
how inherited characteristics in organisms evolve, and how they change from generation to generation

refers to how social beings are benefited in that they are more protected in terms of safety,food and shelter, and so individuals that are predisposed in their genes to live in groups are likely to survive to pass on their genes
