Clues

  • "You too"; an attempt to justify an action on the basis that someone else is doing it (2, 6)
  • Attacking the arguer, not the argument; a form of reasoning which criticises the arguer's features so that the reader will dismiss his argument (2, 7)
  • Bringing two different concepts together and treating them like two similar situations; confusion between the terms and the conclusion might fail (10)
  • One of the reasons is the same as the conclusion and the argument does not lead anywhere or decide anything (8, 8)
  • Reasons from one possibility through a series of events that are not properly or logically linked - EXTREME CONSEQUENCE (8, 5)
  • To draw a general conclusion from insufficient from insufficient evidence (5, 14)
