Biology test Eukaryotic and Prokaryotic cells

?
Which types of cells are Eukaryoctic?
Plant, animal, fungi and protosists
1 of 8
What cells are Prokaryotes?
Bacteria
2 of 8
Relative sizes
You show orders of magnitude using powers of 10. if something is then times bigger it is an order of magnitude bigger
3 of 8
where is the DNA in Prokaryotes
Free in rings in the cytoplasm
4 of 8
What do prokaryotes have that eukaryotes dont
slime capsule(some), flagellum, plasmids, free loop dna
5 of 8
How do you calculate cell size?
Go to lowest magnification and find the field of view using a ruler, then place the specimen on it and magnify until you can see the individual cells then use the f.o.v formula, count the no. of visible cells and use the length of cell formula
6 of 8
what is the formula for field of view?
original magnification ÷ new magnification x original field of view
7 of 8
Formula of length of cell?
Field of view÷ number of cells
