    • decrease in value of money from 1913-1918 of 75%
  • Worker discontent increased in 1916 because Auxiliary Labour Law - OHL restricted freely moving/changing jobs
    • 1918 there was widespread discontent and significant strikes - in Germany lasting for 5 days - Berlin
