Stresemann was Chancellor, then Foreign Minister from November 1923, he:
- Most important thing - 1923 organised the Great Coalition of moderate, pro-democracy parties in the Reichstag - government could make laws
- Called off passive resistance in the Ruhr
- Resumed reparations payments
- Introduced new currency (Retenmark)
- Germany became a permanent member of the League of Nations in 1926
