Wars of the Roses were between the Houses of York and Lancaster who fought to be Henry VI's chief advisor. 

They began after the Duke of York killed the Duke of Somerset.

The Duke of York died but his eldest son took the throne becoming Edward IV.

Edward IV restored peace and captured Henry VI with the help of the Earl of Warwick.…
