Types of care:

Informal sector/care: Care provided by family and friends on a unpaid basis.

Statutory sector/care: Care services provided by the law, which is entitiled to everyone and is free. and example is the NHS trust. 

Private sector/care: Care provided to people who are willing to pay for treatments.

Voluntary sector/ care: Care services provided for free or a small charge; the organisation does not make profit.

 All these different types of care combined together is called mixed economy of care

Legal framework of care:

Legislation: a collective term for laws that rae passed by the parliment.
