1.1   DEFINITION OF PERSONALISATION

·         Defined by the Department of Health as:

o   ‘every person who receives support, whether by statutory services or funded by themselves, will have choice and control over the shape of that support in all care settings’

o   This definition does not imply that the individual receiving the support will be at the centre of the process
