Pacifism comes from the word "peacemaking" in Latin.
It is the belief that any form of violence or aggression is wrong. A pacifist believes this
Active pacifism- Pacifism in politics, agrue against unjust war
Absolute pacifism- All life is precious, all war is wrong
Selective pacifism- Some types of warfare is acceptable, WMDs are wrong
Conditional pacifism- War can sometimes be justified and violence too

Holy War:
Holy war is consisted of good vs evil.
A religion may fight for God
Throughout the Bible, there are many examples of holy wars such as Joshua taking Jerico
The Crusades are an example of holy war

It spreads faith
To rescue Christians from the 'servitude of the infidels'
To retirieve any country that was formally Christian
