The cost of electricity (GCSE PHYSICS AQA HIGHER)

HideShow resource information

THE COST OF ELECTRICITY
Kilowatt-hours (kWh) are units of energy.

The amount of energy transferred by an appliance depends on its power (how fast the appliance can transfer it) and the amount of time that the appliance is switched on.

ENERGY= POWER x TIME

Energy is measured in joules (J)
