Natural Fibres
Wool comes from sheep. It is warm, absorbant, repels water, canbe feel scratchy or comfy, drapes well, fairly strong, not durable, creases drop, stretchy.
Silk comes from a silk worm. It is cool, a good insulator, very absorbant, very comfy, drapes elegantly, good strength, stretchy, creases drop out.
Cotton comes from a cotton plant. It is cool unless brushed, highly absorbant, slow drying, comfy when dry, soft feel, good drape, good strength, abrasion resistant, not stretchy, creases badly.
Linen comes from a flax plant. It is fresh and cool, very absorbant, dries quickly, stiff and firm, good drape, good strength, durable, not stretchy, creases very…
