This is no longer The Legendary kings of rome, 753-617 bce, it is now season 2 of lailah's ancient history notes! it is The Etruscan Kings, 616-509 bce .

The Etruscans:

According to Herodotus-turkish and egyptian settlers who went to italy.find out more on pg 25.

According to modern archaeology- they're from an urnfield culture. look it up on pg 25.

Basically, the, Etruscans, were, greeks, but, uhm, not, greeks,,,. hope that cleared it up for you.

Tarquinius Priscus' rise to power.

-Maybe an etruscan named demaratus was in senate or something before but we just don't know.

- demaratus' kid luocomo could not stand for office because he was 1/2 greek (this is roooome dudes!!!!! thou muststst be pretty italian or a pretty good liar. )

- but then an eage took luocomo's hat off, circled a few times then put it back on him. luocomo immediately sought audience with the then king, ancus!

let's imagine the conversation:

Luocomo (shortened to L to save my fingers): ohmygodohmygod mister kingy sir i saw a birdy then it stole my hat then it repented
