Social learning theory (imitation) 

Bandura 1963 - Four basic processes 

 Attention--> concentration 

Retention --> storing behaviour 

Reproduction --> copying

Motivation --> reason to repeat the behaviour 

Key points: The presence of a role model (in order for behaviour to be copied) + needs self-confidence so that they can imitate the behaviour 

Supporting theory: Bandura Bobo Dolls study 

• Half exposed to agressive model (half same sex + half other sex)+ other half non agressive model 
• Control group same process but no role model interacting with Bobo Doll 
• Experiment left room- role model starte d to hit the bobo doll…
