Sampling Techniques (B4)

1. Quadrats - Place the quadrat in a number of different places on the field, counting the number of different plants each time. Find the average of plants then times it by the area of field.

2. Transect lines - Lay out a tape measure, place your quadrat every 2m along the line. Also you can count the insects crossing the line

3. Nets - Catch the animals, count them and release them back
