When enough readings are taken how are you able to determine the size of a population?
Count number of organisms from one sample and mark them all, recapture and count a second sample, then count the total of recaptures organisms. then multiply the two quatities of organisms and dived the total by the amount of recaptured marked ones

Name three ways in which you can ensure accurate sampling?
get a big sample, repeat readings, use the same equipment for each reading
9 of 10
Explain why you think that collecting data using sampling techniques gives only a rough estimate of population size?
they are rough estimates because the sampling is only done in a small amount of space and so samples cannot be 100% accurate
