Biology - Eco System and Quadrats.

To study an Eco system, you need to find out :

What type, how common and why.
(You can remember this by the acronym What, how and why?, WhW)

• you must find out what type of animals and plants live in this ecosystem.

• you must find out how common these animals and plants are (How easily they are found)

• you must find out why these animals in in this particular eco system.

It's near enough impossible to count every single organism in an eco system, so smaller samples of equal size are taken. there are various techniques of sampling,a pitfall trap is a good example.
