Employees should be trained to use work machinery and equiptment safely to carry out any processes required in their job.

It can be done as on-the-job training or may need a formal certification to prove that they are able to use a particular machine.

All machinery should be regularly maintained within a maintenance programme where all parts of the machine are inspected for wearing, and blades are often replaced.
