producing high quality porducts is important to all businesses because:-

• high quality promotes sales and maintains sales and increases profit as customers wan to buy high quality products
• builds a good reputation for business
• reduces waste as there are very few products that are faulty and need to be replaced therefore no refunds need to be given

Quality control is important in all stages of the porduction process.

The production porcess of a product includes:

• this part of the production process involves anything used to make the final product
• everything in this section must be good quality to ensure the porduct that comes out of these raw materials is as well
• worker quality - ensure workers have the correct qualifications, they have the correct skills acquired from training and that the best candidate has been chosen through the recruitment process
• quality is ensured by finding a reputable supplier who are also keen on offering high quality products. Suppliers could be checked by looking at any awards won for quality, checking the factories and checking deliveries as they come in
