Hitler- A growing problem?

Hitler came into power in 1933 and he had 3 aims:

1) Abolish the treaty of Versailles.

like most Germans he hated the treaty.

he saw it as a symbol of humiliation that Germans had been forced to suffer in 1919 it. must be reversed.

2) Make Germany bigger!

land lost in treaty needed to be regained

he wanted to go further by creating a Gross Deutschland (Greater Germany) by bringing all Germans together in one country

this meant joining Austria…
