Negative approach - Absence of illness (words such as NOT, NO) - health and wellbeing can be described as the absence of physical illness, disease and mental distress.
Positive approach - Achievement and maintenance of physical fitness and mental stability (words such as I CAN DO, HAVE, ABLE TO) - for example I am able to run a marathon.
Holistic apporach - Brings together the whole of a person. WHO - a state of complete physical, mental and social wellbeing, not merely in the absence of disease or infirmity (MORE THAN 1 ASPECT NEEDS TO BE DISCUSSED TO BE HOLISTIC)
Personal Approach - A definition of health from an individuals perspective. For example my definition of health is maintaining a healthy weight and an absence of disease and mental distress
