1921

·         Reparation payments → £6'600'000'000

·         Hitler → leader

1923

·          Germany couldn't afford reparation payments → Government bankrupt

·         The Treaty of Versailles → worse for poor areas

·         French and Belgians sent 750'000 troops into the German
