PRINTING 

FLATBED PRINTING 

Screens are used, applying different colour and design to the fabric as it moves along a conveyor belt

ROTARY/ROLLER PRINTING

Rollers are used to print a continuous pattern onto fabric

SILK SCREEN PRINTING

A fine mesh fabric is stretched over a wooden board, a design is added and ink is dragged over the surface using a squeegee

STENCILLING 

A stencil made from card or thin plastic with a design cut out either by hand or laser cut

BLOCK PRINTING

A traditional printing method.  A block with a design is repeatedly stamped onto fabric

DIGITAL PRINTING

Large inkjet printers transfer a digital design onto the fabric.  Used for intricate and detailed fabric prints 

DISCHARGE PRINTING

A bleaching agent is applied to the fabric which removes the colour leaving a design 

BURN OUT PRINTING 

Chemicals are applied to polyester/cotton fabric. The chemical destroys the cotton but the polyester resists leaving a design
