Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR):

(1948) was drawn up by world leaders who wanted to prevent such terrible things, as had happened in WWII happening again. It states that everyone has a right to life and liberty, freedom of speech and movement, a fair wage, a fair trial, education and other basic human rights.
