Healthy Diet:

Balanced Diet-

·         carbohydrates

·         proteins

·         fibre

·         fats

·         minerals

·         vitamins

·         water

Malnourished - when you are lacking a certain food group and not getting a balanced diet

Overweight - when body carries excess fat and their BMI is between 25-30

Starvation - when a person has a lack of food and does not consume energy

Metabolic rate - the rate of chemical reactions in cells

Affecters of metabolic rate:

·         activity level

·         gender

·         genetic factors
