Approaches- OCR Psychology

The social approach looks at how humans behave whilst under influence or surrounded by other humans. The social approach also looks at how humans react and behave to different social situations in which other people are involved in. Most social approach studies are field studies.

Physiological approach looks at how human behaviour has been influenced through our biological developments and to what extent it has been influenced. In particular the physiological approach examines how developments to our brain and nervous system have determined our behaviour and thought processes our brains go through. The approach therefore mainly involves laboratory experiments in which software such as EEG and MRI scanners are frequently used.
