6.1 Home, school and the Environment

Emerging technologies are changing the way we lead our lives at home and in school, and are changing the environment in which we live. Below are some examples with some advantages and disadvantages for each:

Home

In the home, new 3D TVs are currently being developed. Webcams are allowing for more immersive augmented reality games, mobile phones can do more tasks than ever before. 

Advantages-

3D Tvs allow a more realistic game play and viewing of programmes. Mobile phones enable people to use the internet wherever there is network coverage. 

Disadvantages-
