Treaty of Brest-Litvosk - 1918

  • The Treaty of Brest-Litvosk was when Russia was defeated by the Germans and they made them pay for this lost
  • It is similar to the Treaty of Versailles
  • However, It was harsher than the Treaty of Versailles
  • The Germans thought that the Treaty of Versailles was too harsh and should be fairer but the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk was much harsher so it was not right that the Germans treated Russia harshly but then wanted the Allies to treaty Germany fairer - They were hypocritical
  • If Germany had won WW1 the Treaty against the Allies would have been as harsh as Brest-Litovsk or even worse
