  • 50% restored in 30 secs
  • 100% restored in 2-3 mins
  • takes up 4L of oxygen

Lactacid

lactic acid is changed to:

  • covert to protein
  • covert to glyogen
  • covert to pryvic acid then oxidise
  • excrete in sweat and urine

lactic acid effect

  • decrease pH in blood
  • triggers pain receptors
  • block enzymes eg PFK
