Key Concepts

Ideology - a set of ideas that constitute one's goals, expectations, and actions, a way of looking at things

Discourse - to argue something, a stand point on a subject

Mode Of Address - the way in which relations between addresser and addressee are constructed in an image or text, someones interpretation of something

Narrative - the ways in which meanings are structured as stories

Market Liberalism

Market Liberalism - Market lib. is broadly supportive of the 'way things are'. It sees freedoms best provided for and preserved by 'markets'

Capitalsim - is an economic systmem where people are driven to work by the rwards of capital (money), this is the system we currently live by
