Proper Nouns- specific people and places. E.g Grace, Manchester

Common Nouns- general types of things. E.g Car, Toothbrush

Abstract Nouns- Non physical things. E.g Happiness, Strong

Collective Nouns- Groups. E.g Family, Organisation

Attributive Adjectives- Come before the noun. E.g Small pen

Predictive Adjectives- Come after the noun. E.g The pen is small

Comparative form- E.g Smaller

Superlative form- E.g Smallest

Dynamic Verb- Express physical and mental activities. E.g Run, Think, Buy

Stative Verb- No real activity. E.g to know, to realise, to assume
