Longbridge - Land Use Map (Analysis)

  • Use T.E.A.M
  • Most buildings were commercial
  • Bournville College isn't commercial, leisure or residential so is an anomaly.
  • We did expect that most buildings would commercial because it is a town centre where many people will come to shop.

Longbridge - Environmental Quality Survey (Appropr

  • By plotting all results for that area on one graph, we can easily compare them.
  • The tree graphs can be easily compared due to them being presented in the same way.

Longbridge - Environmental Quality Survey (Analysi

  • High Quality
  • Many Factors being rated as 4
  • 3x3
  • 1x2
  • High quality because it is located outside of a shop. If the area is not kept clean, it makes detract customers.

Longbridge - Environmental Quality Survey (Analysi

  • Very high-quality rating
  • all but 2 results on 4
  • 2 results on 3
  • All results matched my expectations as the two scores ranked at 3 were based on traffic which cannot be helped as it is located at the entrance of the town centre.
10 of 13

Longbridge - Environmental Quality Survey (Analysi

  • Worst Results
  • 5 ranked very high
  • 2 ranked very low
  • No anomalies
  • Factors based on traffic met my expectations as there were many students and it was located near the entrance of the town centre.

Longbridge - Annotated Photos (Appropiateness)

Longbridge - Conclusion

  • Has made the previous brownfield site look better.
  • Has stopped urban deprivation
  • Has improved the environment (Small stream/plants/grass/trees)
  • All data collected matched my expectations
  • Is valid as we used an accurate example or urban regeneration
  • Reliability was impacted on by not being able to analyse all areas.
  • More secondary data should have been used to increase reliability.
  • Should choose more areas to analyse.
