Genesis Creation Story

Genesis 1 and 2 recount how God created the world. Christians link teachings to stewardship, imageof God, sanctityof life, abortion, euthanasia, IVF, homosexuality

In it it states that 'God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.' This makes the world and resources valuable & precious to Christians as they were made by God & he thought they were good. Global Concerns-Environment

'Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."' Many Christians believe they should be stewards of the world, that humans are created by God and given responsibilty to look after and care for the environment. 'So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.'
