The model is too rigid.
The model ignores individual differences.
The model assumes everyone's memory has the same structure.
STM and LTM are over simplified.
Why do some poeple have a better memory than others if we are all the same?
Rehearsal is over-emphasised - we do not rehearse every piece of information that goes into our LTM.
