When information gets more and more faint and things are/can be forgotten.
7 of 9
Describe the multi-store model of memory. (6 marks)
Info comes through the senses and goes to the sensory memory, attention to it moves it onto the STM, rehearsing it can move it again to the LTM, but decay can cause pieces of information to be forgotten.
8 of 9
Evaluate the multi-store model of memory.
Other cases support the theory, but not everything we remember has to be rehearsed - e.g. important events in life only happen once yet they are remembered.
