- When he first meets Wendy, he doesn't know the difference between a kiss or thimble
- Angell presents Peter's innocence
|
- LINE, TONE, PITCH, VOLUME, PACE
- High pitch = 'What's a thimble' shows that Peter is excited, but he's also immature and naive
- Blunt/harsh tone = Shows that Peter is a bit childish and that he can't have normal conversation like an adult
|
|
- BODY LANGUAGE & GESTURE
- Wide gait (stance), open, raised chest, hands on his hips = Shows that Peter is confident and that he's showing off to Wendy
- FACIAL EXPRESSION
- Bashful look = Peter is embarrassed that he doesn't know what a thimble or kiss is
- Grin = Peter is mischievous and immature. Also, that he is showing off in front of Wendy.
- SPACE, POSITIONING, LEVEL & MOVEMENT
- Moves around the stage = Shows that Peter is excited and confident
- Stands very close to Wendy at times = Shows that Peter doesn't understand boundaries or personal space

- WHAT WAS SUCCESSFUL ABPUT THIS MOMENT?
- Angell always presents Peter's character as someone who is childish, who lacks knowledge. Also, we see how Peter interacts with people in his 'world'
- AUDIENCE COMMUNICATION
- Sheader wanted to show how the difference between Peter and Wendy.
- He also wanted to demonstrate what happens when their two worlds collide
- The 'thimble' represents Peter and the 'kiss' represents Wendy
- YOUR PERSONAL RESPONSE
- I thought that Angell presents Peter in a comedic way, but also you can see that Peter has a lot of pain, hurt and anger inside of him and instead of expressing it, he tends to joke around
