Globalisation of companies

Advantages

Profits to shareholders
It improves the quality and growth of industries, leading to an increase in jobs
Gives jobs to people in LEDCs
It brings about a better environment labor and human rights standards

Disadvantages

Transportation of products can add to global warming
Cultural identity is fading away
Not always fair trade
Multinational countries benefit at the expense of farmers, workers and the environment
It takes longer to ship products around the world, so the products won't be in the shops as quickly
Can pay low employment wages to workers in LEDCs

Evaluation

Globalisation of companies can be beneficial for multinational companies in many ways, but globalisation can be damaging to the environment, people and countries.
