Advantages

  • An embryo is important but is not the same as the born human being so experimenting for up 14 days is acceptable
  • Can bring medical cures which helps those sufferingfrom terrible diseases.
  • When nature goes wrong it should be corrected using scientific knowledge and developments

Disadvantages

  • An embryo is a human which must be valued and protected from experimentations.
  • destruction of human life is murder
  • the embryo is innocent and taking of innocent life is wrong
  • The bible encourages humans should care and love for one another and protect those who are weak and unable to protect themselves.

Evaluation

Depending on when a Christian believes life starts changes their view on embryo research. Some see it as murder and others don't. Before the 14th day the embryo feels no pain and this has the ability to improve the lives of those already in pain. The spare eggs from IVF treatment are going to be thrown anyway so this puts them into good use.
