    • Images conveyed by mass media, especially advertising, have changed the way women see themselves and how men see women.
      • Critics blame advertising with skinny women for an increase in anorexia, bulimia and depression.
      • Women are 9 times more likely to suffer from these disorders, nore teenagers who are possibly more image conscious.
    • Number of women affected are only very small.
