- Traffic congestion due to visitors, it has had 18million in total
- It employs 400 people year round, 95% are from Cornwall
- It is a major tourist attraction that replicates 3 global biomes
- It is a sustainable development that has provided a major source of employment and income for Cornwall
- Brings 5,500 jobs to the region; hotels, b&b's, pubs, restaurants
- An endangered plants breeding programme is in place; this is environmentally sustainable
- 61% (£1.1 million) of the retail is spent buying Cornish retail goods
