        • almost one hour after the attacks on the underground, a fourth bomb was detonated on the top deck of a number 30 double decker bus killing 13 people
          • The blast took place near BMA House  (the headquarters of the British medical association). A number of doctors and medical staff in or near that building were able to provide immediate emergency assistance.

        • the first explosion occurred outside the Stade de France stadium at an international friendly
          • a man wearing a suicide belt was reportedly prevented from entering the stadium after a routine check
            • the bomber detonated his belt killing himself and a passer-by
          • A second man blew himself up outside another football stadium however no deaths were reported but the president was rushed to safety
            • although numerous attacks occurred through the night the deadliest occured at the Bataclan concert hall.  89 people died when a rifle was shot at a sold out crowd
              • police shot the 5 gunmen dead in the process detonating one of the attackers suicide vests
      • the attacks were described by President Hollande as an act of war organised by IS
