- Data Entry Screen
- A form used for entering data and is what the user views, can be customized to show limited information
- User
- is the user the same every time it is used? are they novice or an expert?
- Layout/House Style
- Adds the corporate image, eg logo, colours fonts images.
- Font Size/Font Style
- Follow the house style, must be clear and legible.
- Colours
- Can be Attractive to the eye and draw people into looking at the software.
- Validation
- Used to reduce errors, eg a presence check or picture check.
- Flow of information
- Inputs must be in a a logical order.
- Error Messages
- Used for validation, has to include an indication of what is causeing the error
- On Screen Help
- Clear instructions, enough for the user and not too much to cause a clutter.
