    • This methods checks the quality of completed products for faults.
    • Quality inspectors measure or test every product or samples from a batch or random samples.
    • The main objective of QC is to ensure business is achieving the standards its set.
    • Advantages
      • Faulty products are prevented from reaching the customer
      • Inspectors are specialists
      • Inspectors are less biased than employee reviews
      • Act as a development process for less experienced staff
    • Disadvantages
      • A major problem is that individuals are not necessarily encouraged take responsibility  for own quality.
      • Rejected product is expensive to mend.
      • Time Consuming and demotivating for employees
