        • Adduction is away from body, sporting example is crucifixion position in rings routine, gymnastics (adduction in shoulders)
        • Abduction is towards your body, a gymnast will abduct the legs at the hip during a parallel bar routine
      • Plantar Flexion or Dorsiflexion Only occurs at ankles
        • Plantar flexion is pointing your toes. Ballet dancers point their toes
        • Dorsiflexion -  the foot moves towards the shin as if you are pulling your toes up.
