- Consistency can be negatively interpreted
- Same arguments and behaviours can be viewed as rigid and dogmatic
- Can be off-putting to the majority
- Unlikely to result in conversions from the majority
- Need to be prepared to adapt and accept counter-arguments
- Balance is needed between consistency and flexibility

- The morethis happens, the faster the rate of conversion
- Gradually, the minority becomes the majority
