      • Worshipped God, even sacrificed for his family.
    • Satan then cursed God by covering him in sores. His wife question Jobs faith by saying; "Why do you still trust God? Why don't you curse him? Job replied: "Don't talk like a fool! If we accept blessing from God, we must accept trouble as well"
      • His friends came to visit him, trying to comfort him. The stayed with him for 7 nights and 7 days, not saying a word. They tore their clothes and sprinkled dust on their heads.
        • Jon finally broke the silence and cured the day he was born. "O God, put a curse on the day I was born. Put a curse on the night I was concieved"
          • After Job prayed, the Lord made him twice as rich that he had been before. Then Job gave a feast for his brothers and sisters and for his friends.
            • The Lord blesssed Job, his family and his friends. He gave Job 7 sones and a wife.
  • Satan visits God, wants to test Job
    • God agrees that Satan can test Job.
      • Takes his livestock from him and his family
        • House burnt down and servants killed
          • Job rips his garments, shaves his head and praises God
            • "You have given and you have taken, praise the lord"
  • Satan sees God again and asks to tests Job again.
