- Housing Act 1930, housing subsidies (Cons had reduced from Wheatley's Act 1924)
- Road Traffic Act 1930. 5k deaths in 1926, royal commission for transport, nothing done since 1903
- Dangerous driving, Highway Code, tests for disabled drivers, insurance, motorway regulations, buses monitored, but speed limits went until 1934
- Tried to end plural voting & Oxbridge representing in parliament in Feb 1931. Also a single transferable vote system.
- No Trade Disputes Bill, would've made general strikes illegal, no TU political funds unless members opt in.
- No Land Utilisation, buying unproductive farmland (mess with Lords' property)
